Service and scheduling
How fast can you get to my home in Nashville?
We guarantee garage door service within 4 hours: if a technician is not out to service your door within 4 hours, we waive the service fee. Same-day service is available, and every call is answered by a live representative 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency garage door service?
Yes. Our phones are answered 24/7 by a real person, and we provide 24-hour emergency service for residential and commercial garage doors. When your door will not open or close, call any time, day or night, and we will get a certified technician to you as quickly as possible.
Do you charge extra for evening or weekend service?
No. Evening and weekend appointments, including Saturdays and Sundays, cost nothing extra. We accept all major credit cards and offer military and senior citizen discounts; ask about the current terms when you book.
Garage door springs
How much does garage door spring replacement cost in Nashville?
The price depends on your door's size and weight and whether it uses torsion or extension springs. We carry more than 30 spring types, so your technician measures the door and gives you an exact price before any work starts. Every spring repair includes a free safety inspection, and evening or weekend visits cost nothing extra.
How long do your garage door springs last?
The springs we install are high-grade steel rated for 25,000 to 50,000 cycles, compared with the 5,000 to 10,000 cycles common elsewhere. One cycle is the door going up and down once. They are powder-coated, and in a third-party 72-hour salt spray test our green powder-coated springs proved 100% resistant to corrosion.
If only one spring broke, should I replace both?
Usually, yes. Most garage doors have two springs installed at the same time, so when one breaks the other is near the end of its life. Replacing both prevents a second breakdown and protects your opener. We match the springs to your door's weight and finish every job with a balance test.
Prices
What does the $29.95 garage door tune-up include?
Through October 31, 2026, a tune-up is $29.95 per residential door and includes our 25-point safety inspection. The technician checks springs for wear, tension and balance, inspects cables, lubricates rollers and hinges, checks track alignment, tests the opener's safety reverse, aligns the photo eyes, tightens hardware and inspects the weather seal. Parts and repairs are extra and quoted first.
How much does a new garage door cost in Nashville?
A typical new garage door runs $3,000 to $5,000. Quotes of $7,000 to $10,000 or more usually include inflated pricing. We quote one real price with no "call my manager" discounts, and we will review a quote you already have for free. See our Fair, Honest Quote page.
How much does a new garage door opener cost?
The typical market price for a garage door opener is $800 to $1,000, while some companies charge $2,000 or more. We install quiet belt-drive openers, wall-mounted jackshaft openers for garages with limited ceiling space, and models with battery backup so the door still works when the power goes out.
Should I repair or replace my garage door opener?
Repair is often the less expensive option, and our trucks carry a full inventory of opener parts, so most repairs take a single visit. We recommend replacement if the opener was made before the 1993 UL 325 safety update, has no safety eyes, is a model with known safety defects, or comes from a brand that no longer makes parts.
Warranty, brands and service area
What does your garage door warranty cover?
For repairs, our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship on the new and rebuilt parts and labor we provide, and we repair or replace them at no charge. For new door installations, our labor warranty lasts as long as the manufacturer's warranty on the door. Coverage is not transferable and ends if you sell the home. Read the full warranty.
Which garage door and opener brands do you work on?
All major brands. Our certified technicians repair LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Marantec, Sears, Overhead Door, Raynor, Stanley, Craftsman and more. We are a Clopay dealer, we install PDS Ultra openers, and for commercial customers we sell Wayne-Dalton, Janus, DAB, Mahon, ASTA, Clopay, CHI and Cookson doors.
Do you repair commercial garage doors?
Yes. We repair and install rolling steel and roll-up doors, commercial sectional doors, high-speed doors, fire doors, parking garage grilles, chain hoists and commercial openers, and we offer maintenance programs. Commercial customers get same-day service, evening and weekend availability and 24-hour emergency response, and all work is warrantied.
